Google has posted consolidated revenues of $14.42 billion for the quarter ending December 31, 2012, registering a 36% growth in revenues year-on-year (YoY). Its worth noting that this revenue is reported without deducting the traffic acquisition costs of $3.08 billion. Google CEO Larry Page also informed that Google hit $50 billion in total revenues for the first time in 2012, since its inception in September 1998. Financials - Google Revenues (Advertising and others): Google reported revenues of $12.91 billion, up 22% from $10.58 billion revenues posted in the same quarter last year. These revenues represented 89% of Google's consolidated revenues for the quarter. - Motorola Mobility Revenues (Hardware and others): Motorola Mobility reported revenues of $1.51 billion, representing 11% of Google's consolidated revenues, for the quarter. While this revenue is significantly lower from the $2.58 billion in the previous quarter, its worth noting that this revenue is from Motorola's mobile segment only. Motorola Mobility inked an agreement with Arris Group in December 2012, to sell its home business for $2.35 billion in cash and stock. As per the agreement terms, Google is expected to receive $2.05 billion in cash and around $300 million in newly issued ARRIS shares, representing 15.7% stake in the company. The acquisition is expected to close in 2013. Google informed that it has mentioned the financial results of Motorola's Home business as net loss from discontinued operations in the consolidated income statements and has excluded all other results related to Motorola's Home business from its results.
