Debashish Gosh, CEO at Times Business Solutions Limited, has put in his papers. Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet, will be taking interim charge until Times Business Solutions fills up the position. Ghosh refused to disclose where he'll be headed next in a phone call with MediaNama, however, industry rumor is that Ghosh will be joining ZEE TV, reports techcircle. Ghosh's stint as the CEO of Times Business Solutions was rather short, at around 10 months: he had replaced R. Sundar, the founding CEO of the company, in March 2012. Ghosh had joined the Times of India Group in 1996 and before the internal group transfer to TBSL, had served as Director Unified IT & Response. He also joined the Times Internet Ltd in 2005 and served as its CTO until 2007. Times Business Solutions Ltd includes portals such as Timesjobs, Magicbricks, Simplymarry, Ads2book, Yolist.com among others. Nikhil adds: Times Business Solutions had been hived off from Times Internet Limited in early 2008, and apart from MagicBricks, doesn't appear to have been able to become the independent classifieds powerhouse the Times Group wanted it to be. With the Times Group adopting a hub-and-spoke model for Indiatimes (watch our #NAMA discussion with Gajwani here), with separate companies for each business, we wonder whether TBSL will also be split into separate companies, with their own CEOs, all reporting to either the CEO of TBSL.
