Mobile operator, Aircel, has launched a new service called ‘Pocket Music International’ where it offers its subscribers full music track downloads. How to access: Aircel users can visit the WAP portal music.pocketinternet.in on their mobile handset and download full songs. The service is available on a daily subscription of Rs. 5 in which the user gets 5 song downloads daily, which translates to Re 1 per song. It's unclear whether a user can download more than 5 songs a day for an extra charge. We have contacted Aircel for a clarification. Content: Aircel has partnered with two global music recording labels - Sony and Universal. The catalog includes international artists like, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, Bryan Adams, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, among others. The tracks are DRM free and hence can be transferred to any devices. We have contacted Aircel for a clarification along with the information on the bitrate of the songs downloaded.
