eBay India has launched a daily products section that includes food products such as beverages, snacks & nuts, among others (hat-tip- Shyam Somanadh @codelust).The section has a dedicated sub-domain (daily.ebay.in) and offers discount deals, as well. We observed that the Seller's ID appears only on the check-out page and not on the product listing, making it appear as if eBay is selling these products directly, when it's actually an importer who is selling them. Portal: Users can log-in to the portal with their eBay login ID or register on eBay using their email address. The website includes products from categories such as beverages, snacks & nuts, breakfast, biscuits & cookies, canned & bottled food, sauces & dressings. The website also features a deals section where it offers products with discounts. The website features an omnipresent search bar that scrolls down with the page. The search bar also provides suggestions once you start typing a query. Apart from that, users can also filter products by brands, price, cuisine type, and category on any product list page. Once you select a product, the site provides more information about the product, package size, brand, and whether the food item is veg or non-veg. Users can also add the food item to their wishlist or share the product page with their friends on Facebook.
