Tencent, the Chinese internet services company which also has a stake in Indian Internet company, Ibibo, has launched a new browser, the ONE Browser, and has partnered Evernote, the company that lets users collect notes, lists, clippings and other ephemera in a single digital hub, and storing them in the cloud, to integrate the Evernote application with the Browser for Android mobile users in India and other regions. Browser Features The integration of Evernote with ONE Browser for Android allow mobile users to clip a webpage directly to their Evernote account with just one click. All information collected and saved via mobile phones is synchronized across other devices using Evernote, giving users access to their data. While the feature is great for copying text and images from web pages to Evernote, the default Android browser also allows users to save the web URL as a note in Evernote via the Share function, and save webpages for offline reading (we're not sure if all Android versions support this). Other than this new feature, the browser supports features like tabbed navigation, search, speed dial, full-screen browsing, download manager, data compression and data tracking services. It also comes with a “night mode” which allows users to opt for a dark skin for night time usage. Just like the Opera Mini browser, the ONE Browser also uses compression technology to reduce data usage and cut download times. It is currently available for Android, Symbian and Java based phones.
