Google and social networking sites still remain the top visited sites in India. The list remains more or less the same throughout the country expect for airtelworld.com making it to the list in the eastern and western region.

Opera has reported that E-commerce has grown to become the second largest website category in the list of top Indian domains. Opera has tagged both E-Commerce portal where people can actual shop for products and portals where people can compare price under E-Commerce category. Surprisingly, Quickr seems to be doing well, we guess all those TVC’s might be working in their favour. Additionally, it’s surprising to see Amazon.com both the US and UK versions, to appear in top 10 as Amazon does not specifically cater to Indian shoppers. E-Commerce websites accounted for 14% of the total visits.
