Industry Moves: Adobe, Valyoo Technologies

Adobe Systems, has announced the appointment of Sunil P P as the Director-Education, for its India and South Asia operations. He will be responsible for driving the education business for Adobe in the region. Sunil P P, in his  new role, will overlook the growth and adoption of Adobe's new Creative Suite in the education segment in India. Before joining Adobe, Sunil P P was with Microsoft, where he worked eight years, in several positions, most recently as Director – Education Sales. Prior to Microsoft, he worked with Novell as the Education and Channel Manager, and was responsible for managing the Novell certifications and training programs. Adobe, a digital marketing and digital media solutions company, recently announced the launch of Adobe Creative Suite 6 Student and Teacher Edition. **** Valyoo Technologies, an online retailer for luxury fashion accessories that runs portals such as lenskart.com, watchkart.com, bagskart.com and jewelskart.com, has appointed Manoj Sharma as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reports Afaqs. Prior to joining Valyoo Technologies Manoj Sharma worked at gaming major, Zynga, at its game studio in Bangalore. Prior to that he has worked with Myspace, a social networking site, as Vice President, Engineering. At Myspace, he was responsible for building engineering teams including the mobile engineering group at MySpace, bringing MySpace experience on mobile platforms including Wap, native apps, on Iphone, Android, Blackberry, Palm and many more. He has also worked at Verizon, Countrywide and Matchmaker 2000.
