TiVUS, an IPTV company focusing on hotels, has started its Asia Pacific operations, reports Breaking Travel News. The company has also announced its first contract in the Asia Pacific region with Neesa Leisure Ltd. (NLL), which owns and operates hotel properties in India under the brand name CAMBAY Hotels & Resorts. The company informed that TiVUS US, through a joint venture with Tivus Smartv India Pvt Ltd (TSIL), has been working with NLL for the last year negotiating the contract with Neesa Leisure Ltd. TSIL will provide financing for installation of tv systems in the 10 hotels served under this contract. The installation will begin in the next 30 days with the required management has already been hired by TSIL for the Asia deployment. TiVUS is a hotel technology entertainment services company that provides internet-based TV and cable programming, interactive game content as well as other goods and services to the hotel/hospitality industry. It provides user friendly and customizable entertainment system to hotels.Companies can chose between channels such as HBO, Discovery, National Geographic Channel, CNN, among others for entertainment. Their products include eSmart TV, an interactive flat-panel high-definition television that connects directly into a hotel's existing coaxial or category 5/5e/6 Ethernet cabling; eSmart Room, an in-room infotainment service and internet solutions platform that allows guests to view and connect their own computers and gaming consoles to the e-Room's secure internet service; and IP over Coax, a HD IPTV Solution easily connects into a hotel's existing distribution network.
