Deep Ubhi, founder of local search site Burrp.com, has joined online mobile recharge platform FreeCharge.in, reports Indiadigitalreview.com.The report says that it's unclear as to what designation Deep Ubhi has joined at FreeCharge.in, however, he has been working closely with the team across multiple customer-facing departments. Prior to joining FreeCharge.in, Deep Ubhi founded Hopscout, a site dedicated to all things childhood nostalgia. However, that site seems to have closed down now and the domain is up for sale. Prior to that, Deep Ubhi founded Burrp.com in 2006 which was acquired by Network 18 in March 2009. He stayed with Network 18 until 2010 as EVP, New Media & Internet. FreeCharge.in, allows users to recharge their mobile, DTH, and data card. It raised Rs. 20 crore from Sequoia Capital early this year. Prior to BeStylish.com, Kamal Krishna founded Squad Digital Ltd, another WPP's digital agency. Apart from that, he has previously served at Standard Chartered Bank, Digitas, and Quasar. At PWW, Kamal Krishna will manage regional operations and overall business.
