Amkette Launches EvoTV For Rs 9,995

Amkette, the storage and multimedia technology company, has announced EvoTV which enables customers to access  Internet on their television using WiFi or a broadband connection. The device is priced at an MRP of Rs. 12,995 but is available in the market for Rs. 9,995 with Evo Touch Remote. EvoTV comes as an integration of 4 components -- Evo Box, Evo Touch, Evo View and Evo Discover. Evo Touch is a motion sensing remote that also acts like a mouse and has a mic to facilitate conversations on VoIP (like Skype). Apart from that, the touch remote also comes with acceleratometer for gaming. Evo View brings ability to allow the user to go to what they want to see, with a single click. Evo Discover brings a dynamic content discovery software on the EvoTV that will allow consumers to search, and retain video content from sources such as YouTube. The Evo Box runs on Google's Android platform and supports full HD videos.
