Real Estate Group Buying Portal Groffr.com has launched a new feature, called 'Rent A Flat' allowing users to browse through listings of new flat/rooms available for rent, or post their flat requirements on the portal. In addition, the portal also features users who intend to rent out their flats or room. The company claims to offer flats and rooms without any brokerage. By the looks of it, the Rent a Flat section is pretty basic and is essentially a directory of flat listings. Users can narrow down these listings based on whether they are looking for flats to rent in or rent out. They can also filter these listings based on the city and the locality. At the time of writing this article, the service seems to be available in 16 cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Goa among others. In order to post the flat requirements, users need to login to Groffr with their Facebook login credentials and grant access to your timeline. Interestingly, the site also asks user to grant permission to send SMS messages if the user has a phone number listed on their profile. After granting the permission, users can post their requirements by sharing details about their location and budget preferences and the time period within which they need a flat.
