HT Media's Internet subsidiary Firefly eVentures, has launched Mycollegeform.com, an online common application portal that allows students to apply to multiple colleges with a single online application form. The company says that the service has been available through HT Media's education portal HTCampus.com for the past year, but it has now been separated as a standalone property, following its success with both students and colleges. Offerings: At present, Mycollegeform.com offers college applications across five courses including MBA, BBA, Engineering, Computers and Hotel Management. The portal claims to have more than 250 applications available from over 150 college partners like Skyline Business School, WLC, SRM, NIIT, Centum and Indian Retail School. It intends to add more courses and colleges over the next few months. Features: The site is divided into various sections based on the courses being offered i.e. MBA (Full Time/Part Time), BBA, Engineering, BCA & Computer UG and Hotel/ Hospitality Management. Students can head over to the portal, select their preferred course and browse through various colleges offering that specific course along with college-related information like the college affiliation, accreditation, location, accepted exams and minimum eligibility. They can filter these colleges based on the state, city, courses, exams and course fee or sort the colleges based on the application deadline, listing views and application fee. There is also a keyword based search box which allows students to search for any specific college, course in any specific location.
