The company has confirmed these appointments to Medianama. Prior to his appointment as the COO and Business Head (M-Commerce), Atrash Aman handled multiple roles at HomeShop18 including the Director - Marketing & Strategy, Director - Marketing & Sourcing and Vice President (Sales & Marketing). Before this, he was also the VP & Business Head - Media & Services at Bharti Airtel Ltd and a strategy partner at McCann Erickson. On the other hand, Dhruva Chandrie was previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer - Retail at Videocon Telecommunications Ltd for the past year. Before that, he also held the position of the National Head Operations of The Mobile Store for two years. Dhruva's other stints include Chief Operating officer at the Next Retail India chain; Vice President at Reliance Industries (RIL); Divisional Manager - Strategy at Tata Finance and Senior Manager at Tata Motors. Earlier this month, HomeShop18 had launched its online book store offering books across various categories including educational, business, fiction, non-fiction, humor, and entrepreneurship among others. It claimed to offer 10 million book titles across 100 categories. This move followed HomeShop18′s acquisition of On-Graph’s online books retailer CoinJoos in July 2011 with Nitin Gupta, co-founder of On-Graph Technologies, joining Homeshop18 as the head of the books category.
