With the Indian Premier league (IPL) just a fortnight away, the Delhi team franchise, Delhi Daredevils has launched a Hindi edition of its website www.delhidaredevils.com, making it the first IPL team to come up with an online portal in an Indic language. Virender Sehwag, skipper of the Delhi Daredevils, stated that the website was created in a bid to attract fans of Delhi Daredevils who weren't well versed in English but would want to follow their games. Users can now read content in Hindi, share it with their friends on social networks and send messages to the team. Hindi Interface: A new option on Delhidaredevils.com enabling fans to switch the website language to Hindi has been added. After switching to Hindi, many of the menu options are translated to their Hindi equivalent, for instance, news becomes samachar, interviews have become aamne-saamne, points table is now ank taalika and so on. However some of the menu options like Home, Club, Team and Match have not been translated and have been just converted to Hindi. Interestingly, all the news updates and blog posts have been translated to Hindi, although the scorecard and the points table page, and the merchandise shop, is still in English. We also noticed a few minor bugs, for example clicking on Home, even after switching to Hindi, takes the user to the English Home Page. Redesign; Mobile Apps?
