Industry Moves: OMG, VServ, Mindshare, Port Indigo

- Internet advertising company,  Online Media Group (OMG) has appointed LD Sharma as their Group Consultant. Sharma will be responsible for developing and executing the affiliate marketing campaigns of different brands in the Asia Pacific region. He will also help the company to expand its services in the travel, retail and mobile sector. Sharma is the founder of Shoogloo, a performance marketing group, which had struck a deal with OMG that allowed Shoogloo to use its technology. Prior to this, Sharma had also set up CheapFlightsTo, an online travel search engine that aggregates flight information. He serves on the boards of Shoogloo (UK) Ltd, Route Media Ltd (CheapFlightsTo), Super Clusters Media Ltd. - VServ, the mobile ad network, has appointed TS Ramakrishnan as Technology Adviser in an exclusive arrangement. Ramakrishnan has 22 years of industry experience and has been working as a consultant with various start ups across the Silicon Valley, Europe and Asia. He has been associated with Yahoo for seven years where he was heading instant messaging and mobile messaging business. Prior to Vserv, he was the CTO of Bubble Motion. He has also served as the VP of Engineering for AdMob and Facebook, and has also had stints with Skype and Oracle. - Mindshare, a media and marketing services network, has appointed Anupriya Acharya as the Team Leader for Unilever India. She will be responsible for managing Unilever's South Asia operations including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. She was previousy working as the CEO of Aegis Media,…
