GetIt Infoservices, the Delhi based classifieds business, has launched a deals service website GetIt Hot Deals offering deals from partners across various categories. It has also extended the service on its voice platform CallGetit, where users can look for deals in their location by calling 4444-4444. Deals include discounts on restaurants, spas, car servicing, household goods, holiday packages, computers, furniture and others. The deals service will also be integrated with Getit's other products: the online directory service Getit.in and classifieds site Freeads.in, where it will feature relevant deals along with the regular listings. Classifieds/Directory Sites Getting Into Deals: So after Online Travel Agents, the latest to join the deals bandwagon are classifieds services. A few months back, online classifieds service Sulekha.com had launched its own deals site, Sulekha BestBuy. MediaNama readers will also recall that online directory service JustDial in it's IPO documents has also indicated that it plans to launch a “Daily Deals” section on its website, leveraging its user base and relationship with SMEs to offer deals and special promotions on products and services. No Group Buying? : The site does not seem to follow a group buying model, and deals do not indicate details like number of people who've availed the deal before the deal becomes valid or deal expiration details.
