Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd (TTML) has reported that revenues from VAS and data services contributed 22.9% to total wireless revenues, in the financial year ended 31st March 2011, compared to last year's figures of 14.6%. The company also saw a 24% growth in gross minutes of usage for its wireless services, in FY11, over the same period last year. Its subscriber base also increased by 30% at 16.9 million. TTML, is the sister company of Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL), and is operational in Goa, Maharashtra and Mumbai circles. It offers landlines, mobile connectivity (CDMA and GSM) and EVDO based wireless broadband services (Photon+). Looking at the last quarter, that ended 31st March 2011 TTML registered a growth of 7% in minutes of usage, on an year on year basis. Its data and VAS revenue was 26.7% of its total wireless revenues in FY11 Q4. Financials Tata Tele registered an annual net profit of Rs. 49.9 crore for FY11, in contrast to a net loss of Rs 298 crore that it witnessed last fiscal. This includes profit from the sale of the company's tower subsidiary, 21st Century Infra Tele Limited. The company reported a growth in revenues: The company's annual income including its operating income was Rs 2293.31 crore, up 2% compared to Rs 2249.10 crore, that it reported last year.
