Travel Meta search engine Ixigo has won deals to power the flight search on the websites of two GMR Group managed international airports in India: the Delhi and Hyderabad Airports. Ixigo flight searches are showcased on the homepages of the airport websites, which though live, will be inaugurated on the 3rd of July. The Delhi Airport Website As things stand right now, apart from the flight search, the Delhi Airport homepage showcases live flight information, feature interactive maps, and also uses Google Maps to help plan travel within Delhi. The information about 'what to do in Delhi' appears to be rather flimsy, and there's an opportunity for perhaps Burrp or TimesCity to step in here. As an aside: I found some of the terms in the 'simple terms in Hindi' section rather amusing, and completely out of touch with colloquial usage: Hi - Suno, Suniye Good morning - shubh prabhat, Su prabhat Good evening - shubh sandhya Good night - shubh ratri Miss - kumaari Master - Kumaar Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel has also announced that it will power WiFi at the soon-to-be-inaugurated Terminal 3. The Hyderabad Airport Website The Hyderabad Airport website is a little low on detail, with The 'Experience Hyderabad' content on the Hyderabad airport website (according to a 'content courtesy' note) is from FullHyd.com; published with permission, we hope. The route planner is also powered by Google Maps. Alas, couldn't locate 'Simple Terms in Telugu'. Related: - iXiGO.com Launches Travel Deals Search; Profitable; Tripmela, Partnerships, Revenue Model
