Bharti Airtel launches Prepaid Airtel World SIM; Tariffs

Airtel announced the launch of the Airtel World Sim targetted at users travelling abroad. The SIM would enable users to retain the same number irrespective of the country they travel to. The concept, though not new with international players such as One Sim and Telestial already around, is a first for the Indian market. The service has been powered for Airtel by Canaan Partners funded mobile VAS company mCarbon.
