BCCL Launches Networking Site Brandpotion.com Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL) has launched a portal called Brandpotion.com. The site will be a platform for marketers to seek user generated advertising, help shopaholics follow brands and network with them. (Read more at afaqs!) NDTV Worldwide has signed a consultancy agreement with Malaysia based Astro to provide operations and strategic management support to its channel, Astro Awani, for a period of two years. (Read more at Indiantelevision.com) 2ergo To Launch Location Based Services In India VAS company  2ergo is set to launch location based services in India in the next six months. 2ergo has already tied-up with an India telecom operator. (Read more at Telecomyatra) Airtel To Outsource Management of Optic Fibre Cable Network , BSNL To Follow Suit Bharti Airtel has invited bids for management of its 120,00 km plus of inter-city optic fibre cable network. The five year deal is estimated to be worth $1 billion. BSNL also is to invite bids for the same purpose in february. (Read more at The Economic Times) Airtel Launches Caller Tune For Its Fixed Line Phone Airtel has launched a caller tune for its fixed line phones called Family Tunes. The caller tune will be a pre recorded welcome message customised to the customer's family name to greet callers. Airtel has a collection of more than 1000 most common Indian family names.
