Update: Pathak is joining Comviva as Vice President, heading its Airtel SBU in India and globally. Airtel is a key account for Comviva, as per an official communique.

October 27th 2009: MediaNama has learned from reliable sources that after almost five years with the company, Milind Pathak, Co- CEO & Country Manager with Buongiorno HongKong has put in his papers. At the time of filing this report, Pathak was not reachable, and we’re yet to receive a response to an SMS requesting a confirmation or denial of the same. We’ve been unable to ascertain where he is joining. According to our sources, an announcement about Pathaks resignation was made to Buongiorno execs last week.

Pathak was one of the core members of the founding team of Buongiorno (Hong Kong) Ltd, a joint venture between Buongiorno and Mitsui Group from Japan, and had led Buongiorno’s entry into India. Prior to joining Buongiorno, he was with the Mitsui group for over eight years, where his last assignment was as Head of New Services Business.
