IMImobile has inked a deal with MTN to provide the telecom operator its Service Delivery Platform (SDP), including its DaVinci Content Management System (CMS), for providing content to online and mobile users across Africa and the Middle East. Among MTN's key content deployments will be FIFA World Cup 2010 for which it will utilize the IMI Mobile platform for football match news, fixtures, match results as well as team and group profiles. MTN alrady has substantial content available via its portal www.mtnfootball.com, including that of the FIFA Confederations Cup in June this year. The MTN Group operates in 21 countries with 103,2 million subscribers. IMImobile has operations in 40 countries, with offices in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. It entered the European market last year in November by buying London based digital music distibutor dx3. In February this year the company acquired Nokia Siemens Networks’ Music2You service and following in July it acquired social and mobile backup service Mobyko.
