The site features fitness tracking (Fit nFab), tarot reading (Taroscope) and a menstrual cycle tracker (Bioclock). iDiva also has 34.5 lakh print readers in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bangalore.

Idea Cellular Demerger Deferred; Roll Out Update –  The Ahmedabad High Court has granted a period of six weeks to Idea Cellular, deferring  its merger with Spice Communications and the de-merger of their 2 overlapping licenses in Punjab and Karnataka circles. The operator has announced it will be present in all 22 circles by the end of this fiscal. Kolkata and other circles in West Bengal, north-eastern states and J&K will be connected by Q3. Idea rolled out in Tamil Nadu in the end of May and will launch in Chennai in a month, Financial Chronicle reported.

mtnlogoMTN Restarts Merger Talks Public Investment Corporation, the largest shareholder group in South African operator MTN with 13.5% stake, has revived merger talks with Bharti Airtel. They were expecting to get a better offer with regards to the price and are still unsure of whether to accept the $23 billion offer by Bharti Airtel. Standard Chartered is providing a multi-billion dollar support to Bharti for this tie-up, reports Ghanaian Chronicle. According to an investor presentation dated May, MTN had over 100 million subscribers, as does Airtel now. The merger will boost Bharti Airtel’s position as one of the top 10 telcos in the world. MTN is the second largest operator in South Africa with a market share of 36%. In Nigeria, its market share is 44% and it is also growing its userbase in Iran.

BSNL Sets Up Wi-MAX Towers – BSNL is rolling out Wi-MAX in Orissa as it had announced when it launched 3G in the state. Six Wi-Max stations will be set up in Berhampur telecom district. Business Standard reports BSNL expects to establish 7500 broadband connections apart from the already existing 3176  in the district in 2009-10. BSNL expects to also add 80,000 new mobile connections  the district. Is anyone curious why BSNL chose Orissa to launch its Wi-MAX network?

saurabhiROK To Stream Indian Childrens Movies Globally – ROK Entertainment Group has signed a content deal with the Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI), whose  foundation was inspired by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. CFSI focuses on organizing the production, distribution and exhibition of feature films for children and owns a vast library of documentaries, animation and puppet films such as Katputli, Amulyam (a Telugu movie), Lukka Chuppi and Hathi ka Anda. ROK has bagged the rights to stream the same globally. ROK Entertainment Group is a mobile TV provider that has set up a subsidiary in India and signed on BSNL to offer Tiny TV.

Bye Bye Cricket, Hello World Cyber Games –
Cheer for the Indian gaming team when it participates in World Cyber Games 2009 Asian Championship, Singapore, being held on 4th and 5th July. Both PC and Microsoft XBox 360 based games will be held, such as  DOTA All Stars (PC), FIFA Soccer 2009 (PC) and Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox360). Over 112 national level champions of WCG 2008 or 2009 from 14 Asian countries will participate for the Championship.
