This is perhaps one piece of a developing story: ContentSutra has reported that IndiaTimes COO Sunil Rajshekhar is stepping down. The speculation that Rajshekhar would step down has been rife for a couple of weeks now, and we have been trying to confirm the same development. An official spokesperson denied any knowledge of Rajshekhar's resignation, and Rajshekhar did not takeMediaNama's calls, nor has he responded to an SMS sent to him. The word is that he might be moving back to the BCCL group. Rajshekhar is believed to be a strong leader within the organization, and had been holding fort since Dinesh Wadhawan, MD & CEO of Indiatimes quit a few months ago. Rajshekhar, an old Indiatimes hand, had helped set up Indiatimes.
