Infibeam, an Ahmedabad-based online retailer, has launched an online books store in association with In.com, the digital media arm of Web18, under In.com Shopping. Infibeam will power the books section of the site and be responsible for merchandising and inventory management. Web18 brings its wider platform In.com and brand to the deal while Infibeam has expertise in the domain as it owns its own bookstore where it offers 2 million books and free shipping. It has warehouses in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. The co-branded one has a substantially lesser collection of 7254, there are no categories listed and no deals, though there is a bidding option called Unibid. Infibeam is also riding the Tata Nano wave by tying up with dealers to offer booking of the car on its site. Interested buyers can use the site to reach Tata dealers. Picsquare, a Bangalore-based digital photo printing portal acquired by Infibeam in November, has undergone a revamp - it is now offering a new range of designs and is faster. Picsquare lets users create their own designs and publish their photos on various products such as t-shirts, mugs and calendars. Related: Confirmed: Infibeam Acquires Picsquare.com
