CNBC Awaaz has recently launched Awaaz Karobar, a Hindi news site, according to Alootechie. Awaaz Karobar is targeted at investors amongst the Hindi audience. The site offers live streaming video from CNBC's Hindi news channel Awaaz besides blogs, articles on the commodities market and stock quotes. In September last year, Network18 launched a Hindi portal IBN Khabar - the online version of IBN 7, the news channel. A third site - Josh18 - powers both Khabar and Awaz Karobar. Web 18's diversification of its properties is unique in a market where many prime Hindi news channels do not have a corresponding Hindi website. NDTV has a Hindi website - Khabar - but steers clear of business news in the language site. Aaj Tak, by the India Today group, offers Hindi news and videos on its site.
